Since I've been tagged by Treebs and my thoughs are running away from paperwork like roaches from spotlight, I shall do a meme.  Seriously, FedEx looses extremely important background-check paperwork, delivers it a week later than they should have, and I have to figure it all out in the three business days I have remaining on this side of Atlantic.  Eek.  And the lab where they want me to go for the drug test is in another town, about 45 minutes away.  Eeeevil people.  And they didn't put the return envelope in the package, and the guy responsible for this is out of the office until tomorrow.  He said in the e-mail that he will call me later today, but it's 2 pm already...  Oh well, it will work out one way or another, I am doing everything I am supposed to, and I am not going to break my head over something out of my control, even if that's what my brain is trying to force me to do.

Name ten of life's simple pleasures that you like most, and then pick ten people to do the same. Try to be original and creative and not to use things that someone else has already used.

It's tricky - finding something not yet mentioned... and something that qualifies as simple.

1. feel of hot summer sun on my face

2. light summer breeze

3. a cup of hot, strong, unsweetened tea

4. watching the sunset and the evening twilight

5. petting a cat

6. watching a waterfall or a very big river

7. a big basket of wild berries, gathered personally in the forest

8. wandering around an old castle where one can feel the shadows of centuries past

9. getting enough sleep

10. being on the road

 Who shall I tag? biophys_kim, bjam1402, culurien, elfdream, helga_b, krazykat, somhairlin, mumstheword54 boz4pm.
P.S.  I hate LJ.  I  went to Rich Text to add the tags, and haven't been able to switch back.  I hate Rich Text mode.
