Anyway, I tried using conditioner for lashes before putting on mascara several times - it definitely feels heavier, but it makes my lashes even longer (I didn't know it is even possible - I look like one of those porcelain dolls with disproportionally long lashes). Might be an option for make-up heavy occasions, but too bothersome for everyday wear.
On the other note, I bought a scarlet-red lipstick recently, for a specific occasion (I normally wear color just a tone darker than my natural) and so I bought a cheap drugstore brand. There is a reason I never buy cheap make-up. It feels awful, doesn't lay as evenly. Also, I swear cheap lipsticks have a nasty taste. And also I wear lip balm under the lipstik all the time (advice I read many years ago, for wintertime and then expanded to year-round) - cheap lipsticks just don't work well with it.
Anyway, off to make puff-pastries. Should I put apples inside or not? I like plain ones better, my mom - I am not sure, and I am making them for her (today is her last day of work before a two-week vacation). Decisions, decisions.
