Random observations

I think, my love-hate affair with eggs has swung back into "love". I have not eaten plain eggs for at least two years. Even at Easter I wouldn't touch them. And now, I had a omelet recently, and I had two sunny-side-ups today for supper. And I am thinking I could have used three. I remember there was a period of my life when I could easily polish off four hard-boiled eggs in one sitting... all my life, I either eat eggs in superhuman quantities or I cannot even think about eating them without feeling nauseated. The only other product with which I have such a love-hate pendulum relationship is cheese. I either eat cheese even without bread, frequently and a lot - or I go for months without even touching it. I don't know why or how, but it has been like that as long as I can remember myself.

In other news, I saw the gorgeous photos of the mountains that  didian had posted, and started missing mountains again.  It's so unfair that I have to live on the flat land, and my entire vacation was spent in lands so flat they became a proverb...  I cannot even take a decent landscape photo if there are no mountains!  I think there are some low mountains around here - the Poconos - which should be hikeable... I need to find out about that.  It's not the same, but it would be nice to see something higher than a small hill for a change.
